Online Ordering & E-Commerce Integration
Online ordering added on top of an existing POS usually means a second tablet, a second menu to maintain and a stock count that disagrees with the register. Done properly, online orders land in the same queue as walk-ins and pull from the same inventory.
What this includes
- Direct online ordering tied to your POS menu
- Third-party delivery orders routed into one queue
- Shared inventory between register and web store
- Pickup, curbside and delivery workflows
- Scheduled and ahead-ordering
- Online gift cards and loyalty that work in-store too
- QR-code ordering for tables and counters
The honest version
Worth saying plainly: direct online ordering through your own site keeps the margin that the delivery platforms take. For most restaurants we work with, moving even a modest share of repeat customers from a third-party app to direct ordering is a bigger profit improvement than anything else on this page.

Industries we do this for
Online Ordering & E-Commerce: common questions
Can delivery app orders come into our POS instead of a separate tablet?
In many cases yes, and it's worth doing — tablet farms are how orders get missed or made twice. Which specific integrations exist depends on your platform and your delivery partners, so we confirm yours before you buy.
Will we have to maintain two menus?
Not if it's set up properly. Your online menu should come from your POS menu, so a price change or an 86'd item updates both. Maintaining two menus is how they drift apart.
Does online ordering share inventory with the register?
On most platforms yes, which matters for retail more than restaurants — it's what stops you selling the last one twice.
Is it worth having our own online ordering if we're already on delivery apps?
Usually. The platforms take a significant cut, and your repeat customers are the easiest ones to move to direct ordering. We'll help you set it up, though winning customers over to it is a marketing job, not a software one.
